What do we need to do to make our website easier to use for the users, profitable for its owners and easy to support and advertise. In other words - how do we become more usable.
This 2-day course covers the entire website building process - from planning to deployment. This training is suitable for people that own and create websites. We are showing you efficient methods and techniques to ensure a high level of usability of your websites, software ot mobile applications. We put all the theoretical knowledge into practice during the course and thoroughly discuss all questions and issues that arise.
For the sake of convenience we offer the training in 2 parts which take place in two consequtive days:
- Day 1 - Planning and Designing
Profiles, personas and other types of user profiling, intuitive IT architectures, use cases and scenarios, tools for prototyping. - Day 2 - Usability Testing
Planning and conducting usability tests with users and analyzing the results. Types of Usability Testing, which type is most suitable and why? Testing of mobile devices and applications.
You can register for both days or for each one of them separately.

After the course the participants:
- Are able to define usability and to critically examine and discuss issues around it.
- Know how to employ the obtained knowledge in the development of a website or a software product.
- Understand the approaches and methods to create higher user experience levels.
- Are well acquainted with different techniques and tools for prototyping and testing.
- Are able to prioritize and plan activities to ensure the usability of products and services.
- Will be able to plan, prepare and run usability tests and will know hot to recruit participants and behave in an effective manner during testing sessions.
- Process, analyze and present results and recommendations.

- Each participant receives a certificate for attending and successfully completing the training

- Hands-on Workshop: some theoretical background, group discussions and lots of practice.
- The course covers the complete process of running usability tests.
- Attendees perform real tasks, provide a deliverable at each step and then discuss it with the course trainers.
